Set up an Xbox Live Account on Windows Phone 7

Windows Phone 7 is Microsoft’s latest mobile operating system licensed by a number of OEMs for use as the primary operating system for smartphones and other similar mobile devices. Microsoft has also integrated media management for the operating system into their Zune software, which was originally designed for their Zune media player devices. This article will teach you how to set up an Xbox LIVE account on Windows Phone 7.
Steps
- Press the “Xbox LIVE” icon from the Start screen.

- Select “Join Xbox LIVE to play with friends.” From within the “Games” section.
- Enter your date of birth, select your country, and press “Accept” to complete the process.
Tips
- To disconnect a Bluetooth accessory, tap and hold it from the list of devices within the Bluetooth settings pane and select “Delete”.
- You can set up wireless syncing through the Zune software by navigating to Settings>Phone>Wireless Sync and following the onscreen instructions to complete the process.
Warnings
- Xbox LIVE is not available in all regions and countries.
- Wireless syncing is not supported on workplace Wi-Fi networks.
- Windows Phone 7 Connector for Mac is still in beta and may not offer all of the features present in the current build of the Zune software.
